Artist's Description
This photo was a prestudy for a Horror/Thriller genre photo comic. I had been cramming Noir style lighting for weeks, looking at movies and photos photos, and reading books. I also created a mood board for the project. I got the idea for this particular shot about 4 o'clock in the morning one sleepless night.
I fastened a white bedsheet in the frame of my kitchen door with gaffer tape. I used a flash on a shoot through umbrella to light the sheet, and create a white rectangle behind me.
